Week #1 Post (Emily Oreste)

Where are you now? What goals do you have for the upcoming school year? Who are your most important allies to reach your goals? What habits do you have, and do you need to build, in order to reach your goals?

Goals:
My two most important goals that I have at the moment are applying to colleges by the end of 2014 and trying to not stress about school work during my senior year. In the future I hope to graduate college and find a job that can not only support me, but is something that I enjoy doing.

Habits:
Habits that I have right now include always being respectful and courteous to others along with being friendly to those around you.  Habits that I would like to have in the future would be to use my time wisely (don't procrastinate).

Allies:
People who can help me reach my goals are both of my parents because they have gone through high school before, so they know how to deal with the problems one might face.  I believe that my internship supervisor will be my ally in the future along with my other bosses in jobs that I have.

  1. I think your goals are ambitious and that I can relate to trying not to feel stressed during the school year. Senior year is really important and I'm nervous about it, too.

  4. Great goal. I like that your goals are specific, yet, not unrealistic. As far as habits go, procrastination is everyones flaw in high-school so you have nothing to worry about. I can also relate to several of your goals listed.
